Hello my “ordinary guru” seeking friends,
Nothing’s easier to do than to allow life to send “ordinary, unassuming gurus” to you. All you’ve got to do is relax and be open to the idea. Are we not all students? Are we not all teachers? Go for the gold, be willing to be both, and life will embrace you. Ryan likes the student/teacher method of learning (see below).
Hi Mr. White,
I learn a lot from your “student/teacher” lessons. Could you use that model of teaching to help me deal with my recent feelings of anxiety?
Thank you if you can, Ryan M.
Hi Ryan M,
Student: What is anxiety exactly?
Teacher: Anxiety is a symptom of inner discontent.
Student: What does anxiety cause?
Teacher: Anxiety erupts into outer venomous behavior
Student: What can I learn from my outer venomous behavior?
Teacher: Let it reveal what’s bothering you on the inside.
Student: And then what do I do with that knowledge?
Teacher: It’s with awareness of that knowledge that you can effectively deal with your inner problems. Then watch how quickly your outer problems disappear.
Student: Any other tip you could give me?
Teacher: Catch anxiety early enough, and it won’t be able to capture you.
Blessings to you Ryan, Rob
Anxiety is a tyrant that wants to run and ruin your life. If you have attacks of anxiety, consider them just that. They are attacking your psychic system, leaving you upset and exhausted. Step outside the whirling mind, when anxiety attacks. Just notice. By seeing the damaging energy as damaging energy, you create space to respond differently. You lift your mood whenever you begin to see things rightly.
Love & blessings to all of you, Rob
Ps Think from the facts of the moment, not from the feelings of anxiety. It’s always good sense to sigh quietly over how ridiculous it is to listen to your anxiety.
