Hello “ordinary, unassuming guru” seekers,
Sometimes the best way to attract the perfect guru for you is to simply live in a question that you want answered. Let’s look at Mariana’s question (below).
Hi Mr. White
Your last blog was very touching to me. I have the need to make more of my life, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do next. What should I do about that?
Is that a dumb question? Thank You, Mariana S.
The only dumb question is a question not asked. Never be shy to ask. How are you to learn if you don’t ask and ask and ask?
So, now … let’s address your question. You feel a need to make more of your life. What’s that tell you? It tells me that there is a part of you that is urging you to move on. That part of you is saying that there is something else out there for you to experience; something that will help you transcend yourself. We are all seeking to achieve a little more than we did the day before. That’s what it is to transcend oneself, Mariana.
You will never be disappointed with who you create yourself to be when you are willing to take on new experiences. How else are you to dig deeper into the depths of your unlimited potential? That’s what evolution is all about, Mariana. The great aim of life is getting up every morning knowing that you are going to wake up to more and more of your unlimited nature. How glorious is that?
Worry not about what you should do next, but rather – simply be eager to allow ordinary, unassuming, everyday gurus to pass your way and offer a tip or two. The rest will unfold marvelously. I promise you.
Blessing to you Mariana, Rob
Never fear to study yourself. Imagine giving yourself the attention you’d give the whole west coast of Africa if you were studying that. There is always more of you to see than you can possibly imagine. When it comes to uncovering your many virtues and talents, be in the classroom twenty-four hours a day. How enchanting your life would be!
Blessings & love to all of you, Rob
