Hey “ordinary guru” seekers … did you know that we often don’t look at what we fear for fear that it will scare us even more? Raymond offers a chance for us to look into that (see below).
Hi hate my boss. I mean I really, really hate him. I like my job, but I hate my boss. I don’t know what to do about that. Do you?
Thank you, Raymond
You never really hate another person. Fear begets hate. Without fear there is no hate. You hate what you fear. So now I ask you, “what is the weakness in you that has you fear your boss so much that you hate him?” Inquiring into that deeply is the key to setting yourself free from hating anybody.
The truth is that you consider there is a weakness in you, but that’s a falsehood; it’s actually not true. That consideration comes from some erroneous opinion that you are holding of yourself. Clean that mess up, and you’ll find there is no one to defend. That means you won’t feel so defensive around your boss. And then there’s no one to hate. When you don’t feel defensive around your boss, there will be no reason to hate your boss. Stay with this conversation for a bit, Raymond. Explore it. You will find it wonderfully liberating.
Blessings to you Raymond, Rob
What do you hate? Who do you hate. What are you afraid of? Who are you afraid of? Why? Great questions to explore. Be a cosmic cop. Cosmic cops probe deeper than what your reasoning mind offers. You begin by elevating your awareness high up there in the cosmos where you don’t take everything so personally.
Blessings & love to all of you.
PS A hateful mind cannot know the opposite of a fearful mind. Permitting your life to be taken over by hate is letting the foxes into the chicken coop. Nothing good can possibly come of that.
