Hello fellow “ordinary guru” seekers. Maura cannot find any. Can you? Thank you for your courage to admit that you are having trouble with this quest, Maura (see below).
I don’t think there are any ordinary, unassuming gurus passing my way. If they are, then I am not noticing them. Any tips?
Thank you for what you do, Maura
A young lady was walking hurriedly down the street, on her way to work. She heard someone yell, “Watch out,” but she was too caught up in her own thoughts about what excuse to give if she was late for work. The next thing she knew, she was on her butt and the contents of her purse were all over the sidewalk. She was not harmed, but she certainly felt embarrassed as she looked up to see a man picking up the contents of her purse for her. As he helped her get up he said, “I tried to alert you to the pothole but I guess you didn’t hear me.” She said, “I did actually hear you say, ‘watch out,’ but I didn’t think you were talking to me.”
Are you hurrying through life like that, Maura? Is that what’s happening to you
Blessings to you, Rob
Remember this basic fact: life is always right there in front of you trying to support you with living rightly. However, this fact is of no value to you if you are too busy rushing through life to notice the myriad ways life is there for you.
Blessings & love to all of you, Rob
PS “Taste this cookie and describe the taste to me,” speaks life. Now I ask you – “can you describe the taste of the cookie, or are you too busy gobbling it down as you rush through life?”
