Wow! It’s Friday already. How can that be? It was just Tuesday yesterday for me. Time flies when you’re having a good time. Do you agree? Let’s see what Tom has to say about having a good time (below). By the way – have you seen an “ordinary guru” yet today?
Hi Mr. White
I don’t know how to have a good time. I get uptight about everything. What am I missing here?
Thanks for any insight you may offer, Tom
There is no “how” when it comes to having a good time, Tom. The only way to have a good time is to go ahead and have fun without any specific strategy. Watch children; they do it marvelously. It’s called joyful spontaneity.
The truth is that you feel guilty when you have too much fun. That’s what has you so uptight. Just get out there and play. Let the guilt go. To hell with it! Don’t justify having fun – just have fun!
Try it. Tom, you’ll like it.
Are you having fun? You cannot do anything joyful for yourself until you become aware of what you do to kill the joy. What would have you think you don’t deserve to have a good time? If you’re not having fun, then there’s something stuffed in your head that is stopping you. It’s certainly not life that’s stopping you. Life loves to have fun. Look at a rainbow, look at a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, watch a dolphin play in the ocean – that’s life having fun.
Blessings & love to all of you, Rob
PS A single joyful dance is a thousand times more fun than a well-planned vacation where everything must go right or you’re going to be uptight. Right?
