Hello fellow “ordinary guru seeking” tribe members,
A true pleasure arises when an unexpected guru pops into your life and offers you a treasure – a tip that offers you release and relief from something that’s bothering you. But you’ve gotta listen! Larry is noticing something about himself and listening that can change everything if he learns the lesson (see below).
It seems to me that I have a lot of gurus in my life, but I am too busy yammering to hear what they are saying. What do you think about that?
Here’s what I think about your yammering – I think most of us are too busy yammering to hear the lessons offered by ordinary everyday gurus. Truth is waiting for us to stop talking, but so few of us have the willpower to do that. Know-it-all’s cannot hear instruction.
Most of us are know-it-all’s, Larry, and that’s why it takes most of us a lifetime to learn life-lessons that we should learn in the first half of our lives. A truth that a man cannot hear or understand is a truth that is not heard and does not exist for that man. You don’t want to be that man, do you Larry?
Blessing Larry … Rob
Hey folks … simply be more interested in your own growth and development than in impressing upon others how much you know, and in leaps and bounds you will grow and grow and grow!
Blessings & love to all of you, Rob
PS It’s interesting – people who cannot learn for themselves are quite convinced that they can teach the world all there is to know
