Hello my fellow “ordinary guru seeking” friends. I love what Ray offers us. Ray is our ordinary guru for the day. (see below)
Hey Mr. White
I think you’re going to like this one. I’ve been trying to get in the mindset that there are everyday gurus passing my way every day (like you said). Well guess what! It happened.
I was at the mall the other day, and stupidly locked myself out of the car. I absentmindedly placed my keys and my cell phone on the passenger seat while reaching for my sunglasses. And then I got out of the car and shut the door behind me. My car is programmed to lock automatically. I was really pissed. I began swearing and yanking at the car door. At that moment an older man walked by and said to me in a very calm voice, “In the name of peace you can do everything you cannot do in the name of anger.” He then asked if he could help. I borrowed his cell phone and called my wife to come with the 2nd set of keys.
That’s pretty much it. Everything was solved within twenty minutes. What I do know is that I overreact a lot. My wife has told me many times that I should go to anger management classes. This everyday guru not only saved the day, but probably helped me save my life. “In the name of peace you can do everything you cannot do in the name of anger.” Wow, that is a life saver for me. I signed up for anger management classes at the adult education center. I want to start doing more things in the name of peace.
What do you think?
Thank you, Ray J.
I have no comment to add. That is perfect. You are perfect. Life is perfect. We find that out in the name of peace. We bury that fact deep in the name of anger.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jay … Rob
What problem might you solve in your life “in the name of peace”?
Blessings & Love, Rob
PS There is no way to make sense out of your problems until you make calm sense out of yourself
