Hello fellow “ordinary guru seeking” tribe members,
Lois presents a problem that many go through. Thank you for sharing it with us, Lois. You are a gem to the tribe for allowing us to grow by helping you to know that there is so much more to you than the eye can see. Here is what Lois sent to me.
Hi Mr White
I am afraid. I have tried everything to climb out of my financial hole. I can’t seem to break free of all my debts. I am at my wits end. Is there such a thing as just no possible chance of winning? You’ve done well in the world of money so maybe you can give me some everyday guru advice that would help me?
I am grateful for any advice you can offer, Lois H.
Let’s imagine that you were wandering through a meadow by yourself, and you fell down an old abandoned well. The great news at that moment was that you had not hurt yourself, and the well was only eight feet deep. Now you had to get out. Unfortunately, eight feet was deep enough that you couldn’t jump out by grabbing the bricks at the top of the well, but the good news was that there were tree branches that had grown downward from a large willow tree into the well.
You gleefully grabbed a branch to use to climb out, but when you put your weight on it – alas, it broke. You quickly grabbed a second branch, and had the same alarming experience.
There was one branch left. You grabbed it tight but didn’t dare put your weight on it for fear it would break. You didn’t dare pull down on it to pull yourself out because you did not want to face the dread that you would experience if that branch also broke. So you yelled, “HELP” for over an hour until you were hoarse.
You then simply stared at that branch for the next two hours, doing nothing. Finally, as the sun began to set and dark was creeping in, you grabbed that branch and you hoisted yourself up and it did not break. Soon you were out of the well.
Lois, when you have the courage to truly face the financial hole that you’ve dug for yourself, a way will come to you to climb out. Then you will know precisely what you need to do. But as long as you see your financial hole as hopeless, and so long as you see yourself as helpless, nothing good will come of your feeble efforts to climb out of that hole.
Climbing out of financial debt is NOT too difficult for you to accomplish, Lois. The truth teaches you what nothing else can teach you, which is how to do what you’ve got to do to solve your problem. But if you’re not willing to face that truth – climbing out of financial debt is NOT too difficult for you to accomplish – then the truth cannot offer you the strong branch upon which to make your stance.
Please read this a few times and trust what it is telling you, Lois. If you only knew how powerful you are!
Okay guys – here’s that question again to ask yourself: “What’s that got to do with me?”
What challenge do you look at through the eyes of a helpless victim?
What obstacle confronts you that has you feeling like it’s hopeless?
And how shall you possibly rise above your fear and pains unless you break the chains mediocrity.
If it is to be it is up to thee. You are all rich and majestic children of infinite intelligence.
Never, never, never forget that.
Blessings and love to all of you, Rob
PS – Verily, all ideas of success move within your mind like half-embraced vision until you have the courage to do what you have to do to transform those imaginal acts into actual facts.
