Hello fellow “ordinary, everyday, unassuming guru seekers.” I love what Dawn shares with us below. Why is it so difficult to find gurus to guide you? It’s not, and if you’re inventive, you will invent some just to remind you. Take a look at what my friend Dawn has to say about that (below).
I want to share with you an everyday miracle that I know you will appreciate!! Remember that I am focusing on being my own coach. Remember the 60000 no’s of childhood? I have found a counter… I have set my ringtone on my phone to be applause!! 20 times a day I am reminded that I am a rich and majestic child of infinite intelligence, destined to win…Every time the phone rings I get a big smile on my face and I can’t help but think it must lighten my voice as I say hello, Thought you would appreciate knowing
God, I love that. Ingenious! Yes, every child hears 60,000 NO’s by age six. That’s a helluva way to start one’s life out, right? I love your counter to the 60,000 NO’s – a ringtone that is an applause! You have made your cellphone a guru that reminds you that you are a rich and majestic child of Infinite Intelligence. Who else but a rich and majestic child of Infinite Intelligence could have thought of that?
I also love that you focus on being your own coach, Dawn (your own guru). What greater guru could there be than the wise intuitive sense that dwells deep inside of you? I assume that is what you are listening to.
I very much appreciate knowing what you’re showing. Thank you.
Hey guys … there is no friendlier act you can do for yourself than come up with ways of reminding yourself that you are good and beautiful in ways you’ve not yet even noticed. That is what Dawn is doing with her cell phone ringtone.
“If we could just take a vacation from our mental storms.”
That’s what you’re learning to do right here.
Dawn has just given a great way to pack for the next vacation.
Blessings and Love to all of you, Rob
PS I will be on a unique safari for the balance of the week; no laptops allowed. I will continue with the blogs upon return next week (3/27/17)
