“Man writes his own fiction and then complains that he doesn’t like the ending.” Now, that’s worth contemplating.
Hello friends of the “guru search community.” I’m still at my beach house in California. There are plenty of everyday, ordinary, unassuming gurus to go around for everyone here. I love the amount of wisdom that is in the air.
But you’ve gotta listen if you’re gonna catch it.
Higher insights to better living are always available to she that makes herself available. That kind of availability requires total receptivity.
Pearls of truth are easily recognizable if we are willing to cease the nonsensical blab that goes on in our mental labs. Just quiet the mind for a moment or two, and you will be amazed at the pearls of truth that will come to you.
I was enjoying a beach-walk chat with a local Santa Cruz author who was telling me that he has written several successful fiction novels, and what is freaky about it is that they begin as fictions and end up as facts in his life.
He went on to explain one such fiction novel that proved to become fact. It was about a woman who first appeared to be wonderfully healthy and happy, but ends up being a miserable bitch (his words), because of her secret drug habit. He went on to tell me that after writing this fiction novel, he unwittingly attracted just that woman into his life, and it ended up in a nasty divorce.
What’s the lesson I extracted from that? “Man writes his own fiction and then complains that he doesn’t like the ending.”
You don’t have to be an author
You don’t have to be an author to write your own fiction. Do you? You are constantly writing stories of what may happen, what could happen, what you don’t want to happen and what you do want to happen in your mind. Don’t you?
Pay attention to what you writing. You may think it is only fiction. Well, it just may prove to become actual fact if you give it enough attention.
Tomorrow is written today, in your mind.
You are the author of your life.
Stop denying it.
There is an attracting power in your imagination.
Don’t take this lightly.
Learn to use it wisely and you will live successfully and happily.
A miserable life is a product of miserable imaginings. A marvelous life is a product of marvelous imaginings
Okay, so now I ask you: “How might you prove this is true when it comes to your life?” You create your reality with those imaginings that you cling tightly to. Dare to hold yourself accountable for that.
Blessings & love, Rob
