Hey folks, can you believe the amount of Ordinary, Everyday, Unassuming Gurus that come your way?
Are ready to jump in and share one with us?
** Here’s One: The local Butcher told me that he collects recipes and tries them out and refines them so they are uniquely his.
MY GOD – that’s a guru speaking.
Here’s what he taught me: I, like him, love to collect recipes, but the recipes I collect are “recipes for corrections.” And I try them out. And if they work, I make them a unique part of my daily life-habits so they shine through me.
** Here’s Another Guru: When I gave my mailman his Holiday Tip, he said, “Thank you Mr. White. I can use this tip to solve a couple of my holiday-shopping problems. Every bonus makes it easier.”
WOWEE – that’s a guru speaking.
Here’s what he taught me: If I am to solve my problems, I must be equipped with more that what my problems impose on me. And one way to be properly equipped is to know that I am always richer with resources than my problems. That attitude alone places me in the winner’s seat. For in fact, is not my richest resource the simple fact that I am infinitely resourceful?
OKAY – what do you think? What Guru story might you pass my way so I post it for our “Guru Search” community to profit from? C’mon. You’ve got lots of them. Don’t be shy.
The right way to learn is to take the right turn. And the right turn is to take those life-lessons that others offer you and give them away for free.
Blessings and Love to all of you, Rob White
PS – If you have a comment, or have gleaned another lesson, offered by the butcher or the mailman, please do. We look forward to hearing from you.
PPS – Like a skilled pelican, you know how to search out where the richest school of fish reside. Feed a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Let us know of the riches you’ve fished from your life, and you help feed us for life.
