Bill is very good at meeting women. Bill’s terrible in business.
I asked Bill, “What makes you so successful with the women?”
Bill answered, “I feel confident. I persist. I’m flexible and try a new approach if what I’m doing isn’t working. I’m sincere. I love the whole experience of meeting new women.”
I asked Bill, “Do you transfer those same qualities to running your business? Do you feel confident? Do you persist? Are you flexible? Do you try new approaches if what you’re doing isn’t bringing in customers? Are you sincere? Do you love the whole business experience?”
Bill responded, “On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give a 5 to feeling confident, 6 to persisting when things aren’t working, 4 to being flexible, 5 to feeling sincere about my business, 6 to loving the business I’m in.”
I said, “There you have it Bill. You need to transfer the same passion and enthusiasm that you have for meeting women into growing your business. Do that, and you’ll be making all the money you could possibly want within no time.
Try this transfer technique on yourself. What are you good at? What makes you successful at that? What part of your life suffers? Apply the 1 to 10 scale on those qualities when thinking about that area of your life where you suffer.
