Student: What is the most important thing I can do if I want to be successful?
Teacher: Everything in your life begins with your psychology. The whole of the drama that you experience begins with your psychological point of view. You bring conditions and circumstances upon yourself by your attitude, not by your action. In fact, your action is a consequence of your attitude – be it good or bad. The foundation upon which your entire world rests is based on your self-image, on what you think about yourself. Your external personality is the reality of your internal psychology. And there you stand with your position of authority or your feelings of inadequacy. And from that your life unfolds as a demonstration of progress and success or recess and failure.
Student: So, I can’t rise to a higher level of living until I feel better about myself and believe I have what it takes to succeed.
Teacher: That is precisely correct – until you improve your psychological point of view, nothing is going to change for you.
