You trumpet in another day; do you consider it another opportunity for good things to happen or do you just yawn the day away? Do you see yourself as the “maker” of your destiny or do you feel that you’ve been had, and there’s nothing you can do if your life turns out bad? A life of badness comes from mental madness. How that can bring on sadness!
So, what can you do?
No longer moisten your lips with idle words; no longer busy your day with idle deeds which would best serve you if those deeds were undone. How do you do that? Go, meditate on what you want your life to be about, and see yourself as an expression of your meditation until you pave the way for such manifestations.
What else can you do?
Seek out and cast out the weak in you. How do you do that? You must be ever-full of the fact that you are the “maker” of your destiny if your life-dreams are to be your reality. See to it that your morning mental-meal be plentiful with rich ideals about yourself and life. Then you’ll no longer feel sadness, for you’ll have rid your mind of the mental madness that attracted the badness.
