Student: My friend misplaced her antique wristwatch that she’d received from her grandmother. She is very distraught about it. How can she succeed with her quest to find it?
Teacher: Nothing is ever misplaced in the subconscious mind. It remembers everything that you ever do explicitly. If she wants to succeed with her quest to retrieve her antique wristwatch, she should sit right where she is and ask her subconscious to reveal its whereabouts. And then sit and patiently wait, expecting an answer.
Student: What happens next?
Teacher: If she sits quietly, knowing that her subconscious mind is there to serve her, she will get a hunch that will lead her to the watch.
(later that week)
Student: WOW, I gave your tip to my friend, and she tried it. She sat quietly for 32 minutes. Then she had an urge to go back to the grocery store where she bought groceries earlier the morning she lost the watch. She went to the manager’s office and inquired. It was there in lost and found. She’d forgotten that she’d taken it off while shopping and put it in her purse because it was pinching her wrist. Apparently, it had fallen out of her pocketbook when she took her purse out to pay for the groceries. The cashier noticed it on the floor a few minutes later and turned it into management. She retrieved it!
Teacher: Whenever a person comes to the definite decision that the subconscious mind is going to cooperate – it does. Everyone has to learn to trust the subconscious more – it will guide you to your destination once you’ve left the shore.
