Some people are terribly gullible. They take anybody’s word as truth. They are very receptive to what others say. That is unhealthy receptivity, better defined as gullibility. Gullibility is a consequence of laziness-mindedness. What a horrid price we pay when we are too quick to agree.
An empowering state of receptivity is practiced by thinking for yourself. Test out what others say; check the validity of what’s being spoken before assuming it’s true. And don’t apologize for your action. Put first things first. First, validate the truth and then be receptive to how it can help you.
Life is a lot simpler when we verify before we agree. The more gullible we are, the more we suffer an unstable life. Do not allow gullibility to drive you to futile exterior activity – do you agree?
