Student: You mentioned that most human beings live in delusion; I don’t think I do.
Teacher: That’s part of the delusion, thinking you’re an exception.
Student: Can you give me an example?
Teacher: Do you remember, last week’s class, when stated that you are in control of your moods?
Student: Yes, I do.
Teacher: It wasn’t twenty minutes later that another student offered an opinion that contrasted your point of view, and you got all huffy about it. Were you in control of your mood then?
Student: Point well taken; that’s an empowering insight. Wow, part of man’s delusion is refusing to admit that he lives in delusion. That’s a tricky one.
Teacher: Delusions are tricky; that’s why exposing them is so sticky.
