A young lad left the safety of his country home to wander, with his friends, into the rough and tumble neighborhood where the dockworkers drank too much, arm wrestled, and yelled loudly at the women dancing.
He wanted to leave to go home but was embarrassed to tell his friends how uncomfortable he felt. He was standing in the corner by himself, hoping not to be noticed, when one of the woman dancers walked up to him and whispered in his ear, “Just go home.”
There seems that every one of us, at some time in our life, manages to wander recklessly into a situation that makes us very uncomfortable. We don’t know what to do. Let your inner guide direct you. Don’t make it a big hullabaloo – just go home.
