If you’re successful, you’re a finisher. A finisher is a person of action. He knows that it’s only with action that things get accomplished. He has faith that the action he takes is only power that makes him successful.
You can affirm positive thoughts for a lifetime. That’s mental action. But if you don’t back it up with physical action, there’s no realization of your dreams fulfilled.
You can put together a powerful physical plan of action to achieve your mental abstractions. But without the right mental action, all is in vain.
So, it’s dual action that makes all things are possible.
- Right mental action points you in the right direction.
- Right physical action has you stepping lively toward that aspiration.
Coordinate your mental and physical action, and you will hear the applause that is heard by winners.
If you take right mental action, but compulsively react to world conditions, you are going to fail. If you take right physical action, but are pessimistic about the outcome, you are going to fail.
So, now you know what it means to “throw all of you into the endeavor.” It’s a mental and physical emersion of mind and body that makes you a finisher.
The finisher takes the attitude that there’s nothing in the way – nothing in his head and nothing in the world – that can stop him. He thinks optimistically and acts effectively. He proves his premise true continually.
