Question: Do you know what causes trouble in your heart?
Answer: It’s lack of faith.
Question: Lack of faith in what?
Answer: Lack of faith in oneself!
Have you ever heard the statement: “In thy father’s house there are many mansions”? It means that there are many rooms (mansions) in the heart, which is the father’s house. And, these rooms have a big impact on your life because the rooms in which you dwell give you your attitudes and moods.
Question: Where do these rooms come from?
Answer: Every habitual state of mind builds a new room in your heart, which gives you a new emotional environment in which to dwell.
It’s your job to think about yourself in ways that build rooms that inspire you, that uplift your attitude, that bring good cheer to your mood. If it is to be, it is up to thee to choose to build rooms in your heart that have you feel your power, know your potential, and help you to see the truth about your unlimitedness.
Imagine building a room from the belief: “I am marvelously made and destined to win at all that is good and beautiful.” Imagine making that ideal belief a habitual state of mind. How would you feel? What would your life be like? This one state of mind, converted into a habit is a great step toward “letting not your heart be troubled” any longer.
