Over the next five blogs, I will show you how to make your fantasies become facts in your life. The secret to success is putting your daydreams to productive use. When you walk around town imagining a bright future, but do nothing to make those dreams real … it’s like driving a truck full of delicious ripe fruit around town aimlessly instead of taking the fruit to the farmer’s market where it could make you a profit. So, let’s get started so you can daydream productively. Read these next five blogs in a state of reverie – let them absorb deeply into your mind.
Day Four of Five: Learn To Isolate Howling Habits
When a negative habit begins howling, and catches you in its grip, it’s time to isolate it. Bad habits make you feel secure because you’re always doing what you always did. This false sense of security is insanity – it cuts you off from reality. You’re here to become more than you were the years, months and weeks before. That’s what evolution expects of you; it’s what you came here to do. It’s good and necessary and healthy to want to break through old habits that limit you. Isolate those habits – step outside of your usual reactive-self when one of those habits grips you. Say to yourself, “That’s not me; I am an ever-expanding creative being. That habit is nothing but a pattern that I’ve allowed to get a grip on me. I refuse to give my power over to it any longer.” Just saying that makes you aware of the habit. And awareness is the first powerful step to isolating and destroying it.
You’re here to achieve, not to deceive. You deceive when you believe that you have nothing important to achieve.
