Over the next six days, we’re going to look at the truth about me and you. One truth is this: as children we couldn’t tell the difference between lies and the truth if our lives depended on it. In fact, our lives did depend on it, but we were helpless; we couldn’t discern myth from reality. And that’s why, as adults, life doesn’t flow as well as it should for so many of us – we’re still holding onto lies about being inadequate or unworthy, and insisting these lies are true. We even build forts to defend our beliefs; forts in our minds and forts in the world.
Over the next six blogs, we will look directly at matters that matter – matters that can help us put our feet squarely on the ground and walk a direct path to where we want to go, so we can be who we want to be. Let’s begin:
Here we are on our final day of this blog series. Desire is the power that enables you to create your life as you want it to be – not Will Power, but Want Power. Want Power opens your mind and allows pure curiosity-energy to flow through. With Want Power, nothing can stop you. The only reason your life doesn’t unfold as you want it to is because you don’t want it enough! That’s right; you wish and hope, but you don’t want it enough to do whatever it takes to make your dreams come true. When you want something enough, life-force energy floods your body; you develop the power of ten; you become wonderfully obsessed with accomplishing that beautiful vision that you hold in your head. Who, right now, can you think of that has used Want Power to manifest his or her dreams? How can you use this lesson to make your day better? What insight does it give you to solve a problem or challenge confronting you?
