Here are Friday’s three spiritual tips that can help you enhance your travel experiences, be it around the planet or in your mind:
Friday Spiritual Travel Tip # 1: There are no words, no language that can offer the experiences of variety that traveling physically or mentally can give you. To travel often, inwardly and outwardly, is to live fully.
Friday Spiritual Travel Tip # 2: When you look up at the stars from a different place, when you look up at the moon from a different place, you quickly come to realize that the path of life IS LIFE. Dare to travel more in your imagination and in the world for the simple sake of looking up more often.
Friday Spiritual Travel Tip # 3: You never travel at the same speed, in your mind or in the world. Travel washes you in an aura of immortality; you begin to realize that there is no real finality. For heaven’s sake; pack up and go!

Stay tuned for additional travel tips and techniques throughout the week.
Those who make traveling delightful, plan their trip ahead of time. They don’t over pack their bags or their mind. Lugging around excess baggage of any kind makes traveling very unraveling. The odds are that you don’t need to take as much as you think you need when traveling. Make a list before packing. Ask, “Do I really need this?” Don’t over plan the items you take and don’t over plan your itinerary. However, even if it’s a business trip, do plan to be flexible, smile a lot and savor the local flavor. See it as an opportunity to discover something new.
Remember, traveling light is always right. Don’t stuff your pockets or pocketbook with unnecessary items. Sometimes it’s cheaper to pick up incidentals when you get there rather than to have to unpack them or get them through security. Don’t stuff your mind with unnecessary worries. Plan ahead so you aren’t rushing to the airport because you fell behind. Relaxing with a cup of coffee at the airport before flight departure is much more comfortable than feeling hassled about making it through security on time.
When you’re at your destination, maintain the morning routines you keep at home – check email, catch up on social media, go over the day’s to-do list, enjoy your favorite morning beverage and so on. In-room single cup Keurig® brewers are the latest amenity Hilton Garden Inn has introduced to help guests experience a taste of home when traveling.
When the mind is organized, you may well find that you’ll have extra time to get out and play. Open your mind to the newness that the travel offers you. Don’t forget where you came from, but accept the differences in everyone that you meet. Consider traveling a vacation, even if it’s about business. You shouldn’t need another vacation when you get home. When you travel light and your attitude is right, it’s easy to open to experiences that are warm and bright.
