Over the coming week I will be sharing five fabulous ways to cultivate courage. Courage is a fabulous quality. It gives you inner strength and self-confidence, two vital ingredients if you plan to create the future you dream of experiencing. When you respond to the world with courage, there is no obstacle that can permanently set you back. Courage always triumphs over fear, and when you learn to do this consistently, you have what it takes to transform your life. Here is Way 3 to be courageous so that you win, rather than whine when life challenges you.
Way 3 To Be Courageous: Develop Bounce-Backability
Listen to the advice of Alan Simpson, who mentioned developing the resilience of a million rubber bands. Develop Bounce-Backability; learn how to negotiate in the face of failure. See your setbacks as a challenge, not as a life paralyzing event; see it as a reflection on your ineffective action, not a reflection on your value in life. Now get up and take another swing, having learned from the last swing-and-a-miss. You’ll feel what courage feels like.
