My first grade teacher brought a bowl of chocolates and a bowl of apples to school. At recess, she said we could have one or the other. We all ran toward the bowl of chocolates except Harry Williams. He went for an apple. The teacher said, “I guessed that most of you would prefer the chocolates.”
Harry Williams used his will power to choose what was best for him. He was the only student from our elementary school to attend an Ivy League College and get a medical degree. I wonder how that happened?
